At the heart of my practice is a deep commitment to creating a safe, confidential space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions, knowing that you will be met with empathy, understanding, and unconditional positive regard.
As a neurodivergent individual with both autism and ADHD, I bring a unique perspective and personal insight to my work with clients. I understand the complexities of living in a world that may not always accommodate or appreciate our differences, and I am passionate about helping others embrace their authentic selves and thrive. My lived experience as a neurodivergent person enhances my ability to provide understanding and support to my clients.
With 7 years of experience in the counselling world, including 4 years of practice and a life-changing personal journey as a client, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique story. From supporting those facing trauma and crisis in a community counselling service to helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, and other life challenges, I am dedicated to walking alongside you on your path to healing and growth.
My integrative approach to counselling allows me to draw upon a range of theories and techniques, including Person-Centred therapy, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, and CBT, to create a personalised therapy experience that meets your specific needs and goals. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for success in counselling, and I strive to foster a genuine connection built on trust, safety, and mutual respect.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), I adhere to their rigorous ethical standards. Fully qualified, insured, and possessing a current DBS, I am also registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). In addition to my counselling practice, I work as a tutor, delivering counselling training and ensuring that I remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
If you have any questions about my services, fees, or availability, or if you would like to schedule an initial assessment, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I am here to support you and provide the information you need to make an informed decision about your counselling journey.
You can also call me on +44 7983 794343 if you would prefer to leave a message or speak to me first. I am happy to discuss any queries or questions you may have prior to arranging an initial appointment.
I am based in Deal which means my practice is accessible from Dover, Walmer, Sandwich, St. Margaret's at Cliffe, Wingham, Canterbury, Ramsgate and the surrounding areas. However, as I work mostly online, I can work with you from anywhere in the UK.
